Car tuning

At its core, car tuning is the act of making your car engine more efficient and, consequently, more powerful. While much of that is done at an electronic level with our full ECU remapping service, there are also physical and mechanical steps we can take to improve performance.

Remapping

ECU remapping (sometimes called engine remapping) is when the settings on your engine control unit (the ECU in question) is altered. This can vastly improve performance, and is a delicate operation that requires the right equipment and the right kind of expertise to get right. Luckily, at TCM Tuning, we have ample supplies of both. Whether you drive an Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Bentley, Porsche, Seat, or pretty much anything else, we have the tools and the experience to do the job right.

Car diagnostics

A TCM Tuning we can run a complete car diagnostic check for you with our state-of-the-art equipment. Hooking it up to your vehicle’s onboard computer, we can soon detect any existing or potential flaws with your car.

As well as tuning, remapping, and diagnostics, we also install high-quality CANbus immobilisers from Autowatch. The Ghost II is the original, and still the best. It interacts directly with your car’s Controller Area Network, preventing it from activating without a special code.
